The Guggenheim Museum, founded by Solomon R. Guggenheim, is a renowned art institution with four major locations: New York, USA; Bilbao, Spain; Venice, Italy; and Abu Dhabi, UAE. It houses a collection of modern art that Guggenheim has long collected and preserved, and frequently showcases collaborations with various artists. Today, the Guggenheim logo is simplified, taking the form of the letter “G.”

기존의 딱딱한 이미지에서 벗어나 동시대적이면서 혁신적이고 오래가는 디자인을 키워드로 잡고자 했습니다. 각 도시의 독특한 구겐하임 미술관 형태를 단순화하고 선(line)으로 디테일을 추가한 심볼을 탄생시켰습니다.
We aimed to move away from the rigid, traditional image and focus on a contemporary, innovative, and timeless design. By simplifying the unique forms of each Guggenheim museum and adding details with lines, we created a set of distinct symbols.
